The ear is the important organ of hearing and balance in human. Ear is composed of 3 parts; the outter ear,middle ear and the inner ear. But the part will show prominent point is ear pinna. Prepare for ear surgery

1. Stop taking all vitamins ; vitamin E Stop taking all food supplements ; fish oil,garlic,ginkgo Stop taking all herbals Stop taking NSAIDS srugs ; Aspirin,ponstan Need to stop before surgery for 2-3 weeks
2. No drinking alcohol before surgery for 2-3 days
3. If you have medical conditions or drug allergy,please tell doctor or staff in details before surgery
4. If you have underlying Hypertension or Diabetic Millitus,please control blood pressure or blood sugar in normal range before surgery

Steps of otoplasty procedure

1. Doctor will create the incision line
2. Will cleaning the ears with antiseptic drug
3. Injection local anesthesia
4. Open incision at the back surface of the ear. Incision about 3-4 cm
5. Close the incision and used the elastic bandage

Swelling pattern : swelling and bruising will improve in 1-2 weeks
